Brandon Wildlife Association Mission statement

Aims and Objectives

• To emphasize and to practice, at all times, true sportsmanship.
• To encourage and foster the propagation of game and fish species.
• Support the objectives of the Manitoba Wildlife Federation’s – MWF Habitat Foundation.
• To educate the membership and the public, with particular emphasis upon conservation and safety.
• To protect and enhance the privileges of its members to participate in the wise use of our natural resources.
• To encourage every citizen who professes an interest in the animal, bird and fish life and outdoor resources of the province to become active members.
• To devote its members to the causes of conservation – i.e. To defend from waste the natural resources of the province, its soils, its minerals, its forests, water and wildlife.
• To assist and encourage the enforcement of those game laws which are in keeping with our objectives and to strive for better management and game laws where and when necessary.
• To co-operate with the government departments and all related groups, where interests are mutual, working toward common goal of the greatest good for the greatest number.
